Haven’t blogged in ages! I’m losing my track record of blogging everyday! So anyways, mini holiday recap time!

Monday: Erin came over and we both headed down for our coastal adventure!! Armed with a bikini, a towel and a limited number of cash, we stopped off at Harbour Town and explored the David Jones warehouse. Nothing much in there, actually, nothing much at Harbour Town. We both ended up getting a pair of sunnies from Just Jeans which was good because Erin finally found a pair of cheap UV reflective glasses which suited her to a T! And I got a pair of gigantic bug eyed ones. lol

So then we drove off to Pacific Fair to eat and check out stuff there, nothing was bought which was weird as we both had cash left. Saw some mini groups of schoolies there, ended up stopping at BWS as the plan was to leave the car at Pac Fair and bus it to Surfers. So anyways, caught the bus with a whole bunch of other schoolies to the beach and attempted to catch the last rays of sun before it set behind all the apartment blocks. Nothing much of interest happened there, we both got bored, drank some iced coffee and travelled home.

Erin ended up staying the night and we planned to see The Prestige the next day (Tight Arse Tuesdays FTW).

Tuesday: Monday night ensued a terrible, terrible sleep as Mandy had stayed in the room and woke everyone up continually throughout the night. We didn’t really get out of bed until 10AM which by then was too late for the morning sessions (Erin had to go back to Caboolture before 3ish). So we then went out to Browns Plains and copped a squat there to have a look around. Once again boring, and Erin bought some hair dye. What did I buy? :S I can’t remember.. but anyways, Erin also checked out threadless.com and saw cute shirts she wanted to buy too! Oh yeah, just remembered I bought some DVDs: Law and Order: Criminal Intent Season 2, Young Guns I and Young Guns II

Wednesday: Ended up visiting a public pool with Stevie and we swam and I got sufficently tanned. Yay for swimming. Also ate at a Chinese Buffet which was alright I suppose.. but quality? Nuh uh.

Thursday: Finally DID see The Prestige and I have to say it was a damn fuckin’ awesome movie! Loved all the twists and didn’t see them coming! Also had a nice Sizzler lunch, and I must say, I think I have fallen in love with a salad vegetable!!!! (The cucumber) So it’s absolutely jam packed this week, and I stopped into JB Hi-Fi and bought Law and Order: SVU Season 2.

Tomorrow I will be taking a break and watching DVDs, spending money and eating out isn’t doing wonders for my weight and my wallet, so I think it will be a nice day tomorrow

Erin has agreed to come to the next Pie and Bowl meet which is excellent news
